For the first post back from Greece, thought I’d just share some photos of all our breakfasts/lunches on the trip. The food in Greece was amazing for the most part, but I think the pork/lamb gyro pitas were our favorite. We tried to have them every day!
Our first Athens street food experience: after a round of pork gyro pitas (2 euros a piece!), we grabbed an enormous donut from a street vendor on Ermou Street. That donut’s as big as my head! Directly after, we had gelato. How’s that for calorie counting?
In Mykonos, we ate at this place a handful of times. Tiny, tiny place (could hardly turn around), excellent food.
Michael in Mykonos taking a break from the shopping.
A couple of the many gyro “stops” in Santorini.
Crepes at NRG in Santorini. Sorry, France….these are the best crepes I’ve ever had!
Gyro twins!!!
Alright, much more to come on Greece! Plus, stay tuned for a couple new posts….Roast Chicken and me trying my hand at Greek Baklava!
